Bushmeat Crisis Task Force: IMAP

The Bushmeat Crisis Task Force "is a consortium of conservation organizations and scientists dedicated to the conservation of wildlife populations threatened by commercial hunting of wildlife for sale as meat."

Their database of Bushmeat research, projects, reports and more is now available in a geographic view, utilising worldKit. In preperation for inclusion are databases of the "UNESCO World Heritage Sites" and "WDPA Consortium Protected Areas of the World".

Excellent to see worldKit employed for use in wildlife conservation projects. The low cost*, easy setup and use, and increasingly powerful toolset are all designed for these applications. Conservation and humanitarian uses are one of the core motivations of developing worldKit!

* free for non-profits, though small grants or donations always appreciated
